Weather Continues to Affect Schedule

Another day, another set of rainouts - including a couple suspended games where rain, hail and even snow forced the postponement of games. Here's a look at what went down on a cold, wet Wednesday:

KingCo 3A
Bellevue 4, Interlake 1 - The Wolverines scored in each of the last three innings to make a winner out of sophomore Michael Raine, as they topped Interlake in their 3A opener, 4-1. Junior Jack Carlson was 2-for-3 with 2 runs scored and senior Bijan Dekhordi added two hits as well. Saints senior Griffin Sutich was the tough louck loser, victimized by a defense which made six errors. Junior Jake Wilson drove in the lone run on the night for Interlake. Both teams play make-up games on Thursday, with Bellevue taking on Mount Si and Interlake hosting Liberty.

Mercer Island 3, Mount Si 0 - game was suspended in the top of the 2nd inning...will be continued at a later date.

Rainouts: Lake Washington @ Liberty; Sammamish @ Juanita

KingCo 4A
Skyline 10, Issaquah 0 - Clayton Huber tossed five shutout innings and was 3-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI leading the Spartans to a six-inning 10-0 victory over Issaquah. Huber was joined by the "brothers Sinatro" in leading the Skyline attach, with both Jimmy and Matt Sinatro collecting two hits and two RBI. The Spartans scored in every inning but the second, pushing four runs across to end the game in the bottom of the sixth. Issaquah, which made 7 errors on the afternoon, drops to 1-3 in league play, while the boys in green even their record at 2-2.

Inglemoor 3, Roosevelt 0 - Senior right hander Dustin Doucette struck out seven in 5 2/3 shutout innings to lead the Vikings to a shutout win over Roosevelt in a game originally scheduled for last Friday. Doucette outdueled Roughrider ace David Holt, who allowed just 3 hits and 3 runs (2 earned), striking out 3 in five innings on the bump. Junior Blake Wilson drove in a run for Inglemoor, who had just three hits to Roosevelt's 2 on the afternoon. Reid Martinez had two hits and a stolen base in a losing effort for the 'Riders.

Woodinville 6, Ballard 1 - game suspended...will be continued at a later date.
