The Eastlake Wolves will face the Woodinville Falcons on Thursday night for the KingCo title and the one seed out of district 2 to state. Both teams have already locked up a state berth as a result of their wins on Tuesday night.
In the early game, Eastlake's Conner Graham pitched the Wolves to state with 5 1/3 strong innings of shuotout ball over the Bothell Cougars. The Eastlake offense erupted in the top of the 7th for 4 runs and an insurmountable lead. Bothell will face Issaquah at 7 pm Tuesday night to stay alive in a fight for the third and final state berth.
Woodinville used a five run second inning to propel them to victory over the Redmond Mustangs 7-4 in the late game. The deciding blow was a line drive to left off the bat off Derek Svanevik that was lost in the sun by the Mustang left-fielder. Two runners and Svanevick would come around to score on the play. Redmond faces Skyline at 4 pm at Woodinville HS as both teams will work to keep their season alive.
